Statement from Jenna Tosh, CEO of Planned Parenthood Santa Barbara, Ventura, and San Luis Obispo Counties
Today, after last week’s arson attack on the Thousand Oaks Health Center, our doors are open and we have resumed providing high-quality, compassionate care. We are grateful for the outpouring of support from the community and for the resiliency and dedication of our committed staff and health care providers.
Planned Parenthood of Santa Barbara, Ventura and San Luis Obispo Counties is a leading provider of high-quality, affordable reproductive health care. Our Thousand Oaks Health Center provides over 7,000 patients with a wide range of health care services each year, over 90% of which is lifesaving preventive care like cancer screenings, birth control, and sexually transmitted infection testing and treatment.
We are working closely with law enforcement to ensure these criminals will be held accountable for this act of violence.
Thank you for your support,
Jenna Tosh, CEO
Planned Parenthood of Santa Barbara, Ventura, and San Luis Obispo Counties
