Arcata, CA on January 30: You are Jon O'Briencordially invited to the Choices Breakfast, which benefits Planned Parenthood Northern California and helps mark the anniversary of the landmark Roe vs. Wade Supreme Court decision. This year's event will take place on Friday, January 30th from 7:45 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.
Costa Mesa, CA on January 22: This year’s Roe v. Wade Anniversary Celebration hosted by Community Action Fund of Planned Parenthood Orange and San Bernardino Counties will feature Keynote Speaker Erwin Chemerinsky, famed Constitutional Law Scholar, best-selling author, and Dean of the University of California, Irvine School of Law. We will also be honoring the Orange County Women's Coalition for their tireless efforts ensure women continue to have access to quality and safe reproductive health care in Orange County.
Los Angeles, CA on January 22: An evening of women's health supporters coming together at a "Stories from the Frontline: Standing Together for Reproductive Rights, Health and Justice, Celebrating the Roe v. Wade Anniversary" event to commemorate Roe v. Wade co-hosted by the Planned Parenthood Los Angeles Young Professionals and other local partners. Celebrity guests will read “stories from the frontline” as we reflect on how far we have come and how far there is still to go in the fight for reproductive justice.

Monterey, CA on January 22: In commemoration of the landmark Roe v. Wade decision in 1973, LeaPP (Leadership Planned Parenthood) and Planned Parenthood Mar Monte will host an annual luncheon in Monterey. This year it will include the current status of judicial / legislative activity surrounding abortion (and now birth control) by the board chair of the ACLU of Northern California; and a conversation between 22 year old recent college graduate, to represent the millennial generation, a mid-career professional of the sandwich generation and a 92 year old activist from the greatest generation. The panel’s conversation will cover the range of attitudes women have encountered lo these many years, and to explore which have evolved and which remain stubbornly unchanged.
Pasadena, CA on January 27: Join Planned Parenthood Pasadena and San Gabriel Valley (PPPSGV) at Occidental College on January 27th in welcoming prominent faith leaders to engage in a compelling conversation in commemoration of the 42nd anniversary of Roe v Wade. You are invited to hear how these dynamic faith leaders utilize their beliefs and faith teachings to support continued access to safe and legal abortion for all women.

San Diego, CA on January 22: Please join the Coalition for Reproductive Choice and Planned Parenthood Pacific Southwest for the 42nd Anniversary Celebration of Roe v Wade. The featured speaker will be The Reverend Madison T. Shockley. He is a Pastor of Pilgrim United Church of Christ, an open and affirming congregation of the United Church of Christ in north San Diego County with a progressive theology and a commitment to social justice.
Santa Barbara, CA on January 22: Hosted by the Santa Barbara Pro-Choice Coalition is this screening of the doucmentary "Vessel" on Thursday, January 22nd at the Louise Lowry Davis Center at 5:30pm. Ventura, CA on January 25: The Ventura County Reproductive Rights Network is commemorating Roe v. Wade on Sunday, January 25 from 2-4pm at Temple Beth Torah in Ventura with a panel discussion. The panel will share legislative, educational and legal perspectives as they discuss the changing political landscape, judicial appointments, and the future of abortion rights in the United States.
